Kim, I believe this Barney Johnson is the one you found in the ss death records 1930 Ohio Co. Census Barney Johnson 37 Elizabeth Johnson 32 Mary D Johnson 12 Larkin B Johnson 6 Richard C Johnson 4 Elizabeth is Elizabeth "Lizzie" Florence Whobery/Whobrey per the KY birth records for the children. Elizabeth didn't die until the 80's. According to Marji's query, her grandfather's 1st wife died and he remarried in 1932. The Barney you found is Barney D. Johnson, son of Charles Johnson (b 1853 d 1918) Mary Susan Hendrix (b 1858 d 1953). I did find a Douglas B. Johnson b & d Dec 2, 1929 in Ohio Co. that lists his parents as Barney Johnson and Beatrice Stewart. I cannot find anything on this couple.
