I am talking about Hulda Ross that married William Garth. I believe Adeline being shown as having the maiden name of James is the error. John Robert Midkiff's d/c shows his mother as Adeline Garth. Henry C. Midkiff's d/c shows her as Adeline Garr. There is nothing to prove her as a James. There are no marriage records that I have found for either Adeline or Hulda ever being married to a James. Plus Hulda had other children younger and older than Adeline, all with the last name Garth. So the answer is, if you take the last name of JAMES out of the mix then it makes sense how Hulda Haynes is James Stanislaus Medcalf's mother inlaw.
