I might have been a little too rough with my responses. But this kind of message board banter (er debate) is healthy. This is exactly how facts are uncovered. Just be aware that sometimes one has to make an educated guess or two before letting in the cold hard facts. Let the facts either prove or disprove your educated guess (er theory). Despite what you may think, I LOVE to be proven wrong. (The key word being "proven".) I honestly wish you luck in finding the true parents of Isaac Jackson Goff 1830 - 1915 and the photograph of your grandmother. (Hint for Isaac: Focus on the records of Grayson County, Kentucky.) If you discover something new about Isaac, please share it with the readers of this Ohio County message board. Please, please do prove my theory about your Goff ancestors wrong.
