These rovers jumped the Ohio River and settled in Perry County, Indiana. Manuel born in NJ, may 8, 1777 and died in Birdseye, Dubois County, Indiana 0n Dec, 21, 1858 and buried in the Taylor Cemetary, near there. My great grandfather was James Jefferson Taylor who became a respected Doctor in Perry County (which now is the area of Tell City. He married a Phobe Niles in Perry County in 1836. I just reread my history for James and he practiced in Cannelton from 1864-1879 and also was a successfil farmer At my last count they had 3 sons and one daughter, Mary E.
