Barry, 1920 Ohio Co. census has Beatrice (spelled Batris) age 6 living with parents Jacob Stewart and Drucilla Pharris. Her siblings are Henry 17, John W. 4 and sister Birtie M. age 1 7/12. I think Birtie M. maybe the person shown as Maurine in the 1930 Indiana census. They were rooming with Mr. William O. Daniels b. Abt. 1884 KY and his wife Mrs. Pearl H. Daniels b. Abt. 1897 KY. (William and Pearl m. Abt. 1917.) I was actually searching for clues about Barney's parents. Mrs. Pearl H. Daniels b. 1897 KY is old enough to be Barney's mother, but I doubt she is. As far as I know Luther Grant Johnson did not have a daughter named Pearl. Bottom line is I still don't know which child of Luther Grant Johnson is responsible for the birth of Barney George Johnson. She was born 1913 in Kentucky. Her parents are unknown. He married (2) FLORA JANE SHIELDS 1932 in Ohio County, Kentucky, daughter of LESLIE PUSIAN SHIELDS and CORDELIA F. CALVERT. Flora was born 02 Feb 1908 in Ohio County, Kentucky, and died 1967 in an auto accident that killed both Flora and her husband, Barney George Johnson.
