Hi, I am looking for any information on my gg grandparents, Eliza Gabrella Sandefur and Samuel J. Ford--md. in 1836 in Henderson Co., KY. Eliza belonged to Richard Sandefur SR and Elizabeth Petty and Samuel J. belonged to Samuel Ford SR and Nancy Bennett. Eliza and Samuel lived in Ohio Co., had three daughters--Harriet Minerva, Mary E., and Gabrella. By 1850 Eliza and Samuel evidently had both died as the daughters were made wards of the court and went to live with the Sandefur grandparents--Richard and Elizabeth Petty Sandefur (they are listed in the 1850 Henderson Co., KY, census). Harriet married Enoch George Eakins (my g grandparents). Mary married GW Sandefur and James C. Davis, Gabrella married Lorenzo D. Taylor. I would like to know the circumstances of Samuel and Eliza's death, and where they are buried. According to one researcher I have talked to, there is some disease that has affected the Ford men where they die early. I do have quite a bit on my family lines that I would be happy to share.
