Hi, I am looking for any info on my gg grandparents, Eliza G. Sandefur and Samuel J. Ford, married about 1834. They had three daughters--Harriet (md. EG Eakins and my g grandparents), Mary (md a Sandefur) and Gabrella (md. a Taylor). In 1848 Samuel J. died and the girls were made wards of the Ohio Co court and went to live with their Sandefur grandparents--Richard Sandefur and Elizabeth Petty Sandefur. Supposedly Eliza died in 1854. I would like to know what happened to Eliza that she didn't keep the children? Was she committed to an asylum or did she remarry? I do have lots of info on the other branches of the family I would be happy to share, but would like to know what happened to Eliza. Thanks for any info. Helen Keusch gkeusch@psci.net
