Hello Phil, The only CHAPMAN I have married into my ELLIS line. Altha D. CHAPMAN married Theodore ELLIS b:1845. They were married 12/1/1869 and are listed on the 1870 Ohio Co Ky census, Town of hartford Precingt page 13 (stamp indicates page 506). Wish I could be of more help, Sorry.
