Hobdy; signature of bondsman-signed with an 'X'; resides-Ohio Co.; age 17 yrs; 1st marriage; born-Ohio Co.; father born-TN; mother born-Butler Co., KY; date of license-29 July 1861; to be married on-1 August 1861; actual date of marriage-no return; In Book C-p. 104: groom-Granville C. Allen; signature-'Granville C. Allen'; bride-Jane English; bondsman-Benjamin Duvall; signature-'Benjamin Duvall, Jr.'; consent-"The above bound Benjamin Duvall makes oath before me that Miss Jane English is of the full age of 21 years"; date of license-18 Dec 1854; no marriage return.
