In the 1870 Thomas T. Stewart household, the first 3 children listed are Granville Allen's children. On John Henry Allen's death certificate it shows dob Jan 25, 1861, dod Oct 24, 1911, parents Granville Allen and Jane English. His wife, Millie, was the informant. I don't know why the head of household is listed as Thomas T. Stewart but I believe this is the man that was married to Granville's widow. The William T. Stewart that also appears in 1870 is the same age as Thomas T. but his wife Missouri is only 22. In 1880 her age is listed as 34. I don't believe she is Jane English. In Warren Co. marriage index there is a William T. Stewart that married M. J. Spinks Dec 28, 1858. Also I found in the 1850 Warren Co. census a male b abt 1840 listed as W. T. Stuart. The head is A. Stuart age 35 (m). Others in the home are M. (f) age 30, L. J. 13 (f), M. E. 12 (f), S. A. 7 (f) and M. 6 (f). This may be the William T. that is in Ohio Co. 1870 and 1880.
