The dates on his stone are Apr 6, 1837 - Oct 15, 1902. His second wife Nancy Jane Chipley also has a tone there. I do not know where first wife Mary E Pearce is buried. I have been told by a relative, but have not verified, that Burgess is the son of Lorenzo Earp and Lucinda Faught. They never married. Lucinda is the daughter of William & Mary(Polly) Autry Faught. Lucinda died Jul 18, 1853. I have photos of the stones of the Faughts that are buried in the Central Grove & Green River Baptist Cemeteries (and other cemeteries) if you want more information.
