Hi All! First of all, I am going to be in Ohio Co later on this week, if the weather cooperates. Can anyone living in or around Ohio Co tell me what the weather forecast is for Wednesday and Thursday? I can' really tell from the weather channel and I just want to know about snow and ice and if the roads will be passable. Thanks. Also I was hoping someone could give me some advice as to where the best research libraries or history organizations are for OHIO Co, for VERY EARLY research. My eldest Jesse Cravens was appointed one of the original JP's in Ohio county when it was first formed. He was also on the origianl board for the Hartford Academy. The lines that I am working on (Cravens and Tarlton) were only here basically from abt 1798 to about 1836. The Tarlton's may have been gone even before that! I know that there was SOME association with Hardin Co for the Tarlton's (perhaps just because of the change in County lines) and I think perhaps Jesse was in Lincoln co, abt 1790 - 1798 (before Ohio Co was formed).
