I have just made some major inroads into this line, but as usual I now have more questions than answers LOL! Jesse Craven was appt. one of the first justice of the peace and an administrator for the Hartford Academy when Ohio Co, KY was made a co in 1798. His son (also Jesse) was born in "Powell's Valley" (exactly where I haven't yet figured out) in about 1784-1790. THis second Jesse Craven married a Rebecca Tarleton in 1802 in Ohio Co and a third Jesse married an Ann Nanny in 1832. About 1835 most of this clan then moved to Green Co, IN.
