Can someone tell me if they can locate a Thomas Johnston,born abt 1790 in NC..possibly as early as 1780. Not sure when or where he died. He did move to Tn abt 1800. Residences ranged from Murfreesboro down to Monteagle. He owned properties along with his offspring, either joint or separate, in these areas up to the Civil War. about 1862, his son Calvin and families left Tullahoma ,where they lived, for Indiana. It is unknown the wherabouts of Thomas after abt 1860. Census showed him living near Calvin abt 1860 as a chairmaker or laborer. Cemetery search? Thanks John Johnston Palm Springs Ca
