Day (1837 - 1901). No existing CENSUS RECORD have them together as father and son. They should be together in the 1900 census survey, but they are not. And I doubt Finice's mother was Rachel (Bratcher) Goff b. 1836 KY. Rachel would have been 48 years old at the time of his birth. The better mother candidate is Elizabeth Ann Pierce b. Jul 1860 KY. But she would have been only 15 and would have given birth BEFORE getting married to Aaron in 1888. Hmmmm? Get out the DNA swabs! Additionally, the 1900 census for Elizabeth A. (Pierce) Day, says she has 6 LIVING children, but only five of them are recorded with her. Below are the children of Aaron VanBuren Day, as I see it. Barry Ashby 1.
