Well of course I have other names, Just not much information, especially on Antha and Galey. Funny how they grave markers have Galen TURNER and Antha TURNER with death year, his 1923 and hers 1947. I got the month from one of the Census of OHIO COUNTY KY. I called the funeral home that would of handled the arrangements for my g grandmother that my aunt who is still living said to call. Of course she was little and remembers Antha since Galey died way before she did. And lo and behold they had her as Elizabeth TURNER. I questioned the name, but the birth month and years match up, plus said her husband was, spelled Galen. BINGO.... but :( no any other information on Galen other what was on the information. Lucky for me the guy is going to make a copy of everything that is on there and send it snail mail. But I have their children's names, one of which is my grandfather. So here goes: First some history: Antha maiden name is Hazel. She was found on the 1880 census in Green Castle, Warren County Kentucky, living with her stepfather- Benjamin MERCER and her mother Abina (Albina)- maiden name LAMATUS / LAMASTERS. But there is listed a George Hazel as her brother. But his age was 22 and occupation said Cooper (what ever that is) and hers was 5. So I am thinking that he couldn't be age 2 becasue they got marred in 1879 and she was divorce from William. My next thought is that he was Williams son from a previous marriage because of the occupation listed. Antha's real father was William Hazel and he was about 18 years older than she, but looking at the marriage bond I have, it looks like by the time she had Antha, she might of already been pregnant. I have a copy their divorce papers also. She then married MERCER. I have a copy of this marriage too. All through Census I found she was listed as Antha / Anthy / and a misspelled Antony. His name was spelled on several Census as Gagh / Gailey / Gaghly / and the weird one is on the 1920 Census of Ohio County ED 127, Precinct 3K Simmons, Sheet 22B, Lines 78-83 Enumerated on 30 January, where is name is spelled Felin A. TURNER and Anthy R. listed along with her daughter who had been widowed 2 times was Callie and James M (my grandfather) Nellie and a grandson Andrew W. AUSTIN age 8 months. Don't which daughter the grandson belonged to. I also have information of the 1900 Census in Ohio County and their children at first. It listed them being married 7 years so thats about 1893 for marriage. They had 5 children and 4 living. So one died sometime between the time they married and the 1900 Census. Listed is Mary E. TURNER, b. Feb 1895 age 5 > Calverney b. Aug. 1896 age 3 and twins Hary W. son and Cory B. daughter b. Dec 1899 age 5 1/2 months. 1910 Census in Ohio County list children as 9 and 4 living. They have them living with children Calla TURNER age 14 aka Calverney aka Callie> James (or Jimmie)TURNER age 8 (my grandfather) > Millie C. TURNER aka Nellie age 2. So I take it that Hary W. and Cory B. died. Mary E. is alive because she is listed on the 1910 Microcode along with Callie, James and Millie aka Nellie. So those are the 4 surviving children out of the 9. James McKinnely was the first of a twin also, but guess it died. So that leaves me with 3 known children who died, with one unknown name and 2 unknown names of other children who died. The unknown children had to of died between 1900 and 1910. So there you got it. I will keep my fingers cross that somehow you have information on Galen TURNER. By The Way, they were both born in Warren County Kentucky.. They lived in places like McHenry, Beaver Dam, Hartford, Ohio County during their marriages. Do not know where they got married. God BLess Pam One of Callie marriages was to someone name Casisinnger. Then one daughter was married an AUSTIN since the grandson last name was so.
