Hi! I am new to this list. I belong to several other lists, so if I don't "follow the rules" of this one, let me know :) I am researching the Camfield/Campfield and Arendell/ Arndell / Arnold families - who intermarried with great regularity - in Ohio and surrounding KY counties, especially Muhlenberg County. If anyone else is researching these lines, I'd love to hear from you and maybe we could share information. I am a direct descendant of John Sage Camfield b. 1799 through his daughter Rachel J. (m. Joseph Arendell) and his son Andrew J. (m. Elizabeth Ann Mefford). Children and/or grandchildren of both of these people (Cordelia Arendell and Alonzo Camfield) married and their son, Earl Oscar Camfield was my great -grandfather.
