    3. According to the book I Have. BURKS, David D. married RALPH, Nancy Jane 5-23-1839 by Thomas DOWNS. The book is: Ohio County, KY Records, Vol. 1 by Michael L. Cook, C. G. and Bettie A. Cummings Cook, C. G. I trust their records. They many books out where they went and copied early records. They have early records for many of the early counties in KY.
