Thank you very much. I appreciate your time and work in looking this up for me. Looks to me like BArrett Miller is ALMOST a cinch to be the son of William Barrett Miller & Mayme Morris? Miller from Ohio Co., Ky. (Mayme from Georgia) His Dad born Hartford, Ohio Co., Ky.= Fits Birthday = July 9, 1896 - - that "fits" Place born - Laurel Co., Ky. - ???? Maybe the family went to SE KY & came back to Ohio Co. before 1900 census ??? OR maybe they just got it wrong when they filled out his draft card in Florida. Or maybe WM.B. father of Barrett went to SE Ky and got married there about 1894 had son Barrett and then came to Ohio Co. before 1900. Enough Maybes !!!! Laurel County is next to Knox Co. which is next to Bell Co. N, up US HWY 25 to Corbin and then N. up I-75 to London which is Laurel Co. Spent a little work time there years ago. Now I will do a little Florida search and South East Ky. search. Thanks again very much. Lynn Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Mayme's age & birth state "fit" Only son Barrett "fits" I really wonder why they would have moved from Daviess Co. to Bell Co.??? That's in S.E. Ky. at Cumberland Gap on Tn. line and closer to Knoxville Tn. but a long way from Ohio/Daviess area. Most moves were north south or west. Maybe Coal ?? They had/have a lot of that in Bell Co. Anyway - I do not have access to the census after 1920 and very few death records, So could I please ask a favor to look up the following death certificates as indexed at Rootsweb. Maybe they will give some more clues. Name = MILLER BARRETT Age = 074 County died = BELL Residence = BELL date died = 07-08-1971 Cert # = 18768 Name = MILLER WILLIAM B Age = 052 Died at = BELL Residence = KNOX Date died = 02-08-1947 Cert. # = 02570 Thanks again very much for your help. With your information, I believe I can now post a query on the Bell Co. board. Lynn Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. Thank you so much, Betsy.  I knew there had to be more family-though am surprised none of Cicero's children are buried there.  Thank you for the info on Martin gals!  Thank you and yes, it looks like they were sisters.  I have not ordered Kenneth & Annie's obits yet and had been hoping they were connected too-that I was on the right track.  I still have many obits to get from Owensboro.  I really appreciate your help very much! Will check Annie's family back for John and then transcribe both of his obits, if connected.  Thanks again Betsy! 3. Well, thank you, I was wondering if there may be another reason Cicero A. Burton & his wife Persis Boone would have been buried there besides maybe being close to where they lived.  I am looking for more Burtons besides the George I already listed.  --- On Mon, 6/1/09, Betsy Stanford <betsylinn@aol.com> wrote: From: Betsy Stanford <betsylinn@aol.com> Subject: Re: [KYOHIO] MILTON TAYLOR CEMETERY To: kyohio@rootsweb.com Date: Monday, June 1, 2009, 12:57 PM Deborah, I have quite a few of the names and dates of those buried there.  Some of the info I have includes maiden names and given names of those that you have listed like Mrs. M. T. Likens.  She was Malinda Belle Ashby and was married to Marion T. Likens.  If you need names checked on I will be glad to do so. There are many genealogy sites on Geocities, and sadly, many of these sites may be lost if the webmasters don't move the sites to a new location. Yahoo is not notifying anyone about this by e-mail and many webmasters have not updated their sites in years, so--more likely than not--are not even aware the pages they have posted will be lost. You or someone you know may have genealogy information posted on a Geocities site. USGenWeb & Rootsweb also have had links to Geocities sites. 3. If you go out to www.geocities.com , they do let you know that they are going to close down the site. If you look at the frequently asked questions, they indicate that they are going to notice their geocities customers later in the summer with necessary information to move their sites. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kiril Kundurazieff" <sneakeasy@gmail.com> To: <kyohio@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 31, 2009 7:40 PM Subject: Re: [KYOHIO] JFYI/Geocities closes all sites! > > Genealogy Alert: Geocities to close this year >> > You may have heard that Geocities will be closing down later this year > (2009).
