    3. Thanks I'll have to check these guys out. The old LDS site shows 2 fathers for the elder Braxton. Moses & Benjamin. If Braxton & Susanna married in 1843, then Susanna must be a 2nd wife because eldest son & child of Braxton is Benjamin shown in the 1860 census as 23 yrs. old. That places his birth at about 1837 which is prior to Braxton & Susanna's marriage. It shows his place of birth as Delaware but in 1860 Warrick Co. his place of birth is KY. Federal Census Anderson, Warrick, Indiana, M 653 Roll 305 Page 1041. Line 35. 1880 U. S. Federal Census Anderson, Warrick, Indiana, T 9 Roll 320 Page 237. Line 4 I use Heritage Quest & not Ancestry so keep that in mind. In the 1880 census, she's a widow with 3 yr. old son Monroe Anner. In one census, her christian name is spelled Cymantha and surname (or family name) for everyone entered is JONSON. I'll keep looking. Braxton donated land to a church as long as it stays a church in Warrick Co. IN, there is also a cemetary there, Susanna is buried there. I used to have a picture of her marker, but I can't see to find it.     3. Barney George Johnson married Flora Jane Shields in 1936. My understanding is that his first wife died in child birth. Indiana. I have hit a brick wall as far as his birth place and parents. He could have been born in KY VA or PA. I don't think he was born in Scotland, Ireland or England though his parents may have been. His wife Nancy's family may have originated in England. I've researched as far back as her 2x great grandfather on her Mother's side. Of course nothing is carved in stone as the names are quite common. Any help would be appreciated.
