    1. [KYOHIO] Tom Johnston (addendum )1790 +
    2. Cant locate Thomas Johnston, born abt 1790 in NC..possibly as early as 1780.His subsequent offspring are known to have lived in the other states listed in the "Subject" Not sure when or where he died. He did move to Tn abt 1800. Residences ranged from Murfreesboro down to Monteagle. He owned properties along this area &with his offspring, either joint or separate, in these areas up to the Civil War. about 1862, his son Calvin and families left Tullahoma , for Indiana 1861,where they lived, then to Mo. and Ky by 1864. Some kids and relatives dropped off and stayed along the way. It is unknown the wherabouts of Thomas after abt 1860. I only knbow the travels of his son Calvin b.1822 in Tullahoma Tn. and his family, which are generally the states listed in the "Subject" area. Census showed him ,when in Tn, living near Calvin abt 1860 as a chairmaker or laborer. Cemetery Search? Thanks John Johnston Palm Springs Ca

    1. Webb/Young/Kent -- connected to Crowe/Morris/Embry?
    2. My husband's grandmother (Bessie Crowe Baize) gave my husband an old Family Bible years ago before we married. He doesn't know of any significance to the family. Some years ago I had also asked my mother-in-law, but she did not know either. I have checked with my husband's cousins and so far no one know of any family connection. I was looking at it the other day and found the following information. If this is your family, please contact me. The Bible belonged to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Webb. Marriages: Mr. Alvin Webb to Miss Lora Kent, February 1894 Mr. Clarence Young to Miss Ellenora Webb, December 25, 1915 Births: Clarence Young, October 15, 1895 Mr. Alvin Webb, February 19, 1871 Lora B. 3. Hi, I am looking for any info on my gg grandparents, Eliza G. Sandefur and Samuel J. Ford, married about 1834. They had three daughters--Harriet (md. EG Eakins and my g grandparents), Mary (md a Sandefur) and Gabrella (md. a Taylor). In 1848 Samuel J. died and the girls were made wards of the Ohio Co court and went to live with their Sandefur grandparents--Richard Sandefur and Elizabeth Petty Sandefur. Supposedly Eliza died in 1854. I would like to know what happened to Eliza that she didn't keep the children? Was she committed to an asylum or did she remarry? I do have lots of info on the other branches of the family I would be happy to share, but would like to know what happened to Eliza. Thanks for any info. Helen Keusch gkeusch@psci.net

    3. Hi, I am looking for any information on my gg grandparents, Eliza Gabrella Sandefur and Samuel J. Ford--md. in 1836 in Henderson Co., KY. Eliza belonged to Richard Sandefur SR and Elizabeth Petty and Samuel J. belonged to Samuel Ford SR and Nancy Bennett. Eliza and Samuel lived in Ohio Co., had three daughters--Harriet Minerva, Mary E., and Gabrella. By 1850 Eliza and Samuel evidently had both died as the daughters were made wards of the court and went to live with the Sandefur grandparents--Richard and Elizabeth Petty Sandefur (they are listed in the 1850 Henderson Co., KY, census). Harriet married Enoch George Eakins (my g grandparents). Mary married GW Sandefur and James C. Davis, Gabrella married Lorenzo D. Taylor. I would like to know the circumstances of Samuel and Eliza's death, and where they are buried. According to one researcher I have talked to, there is some disease that has affected the Ford men where they die early. I do have quite a bit on my family lines that I would be happy to share. Thanks. Helen Zuber Keusch in southern IN And HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
