    3. -----Original Message----- Subject: [KYBATH] Obituary, Mollie Harper Ratliff, 4-14-1938 Mollie Harper Ratliff Bath County News-Outlook Thursday, April 14, 1938 Mrs. Ratliff Buried At Sharpsburg Mrs. Mollie Harper Ratliff, who died at her home at Irvine Thursday, April 7, following a paralytic stroke suffered the previous day, was buried in the family lot in the Crown Hill Cemetery at Sharpsburg Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Ratliff, the wife of Caleb S. Ratliff, former Sheriff of Bath county, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Harper and was born and reared in this county. she was educated at the old Bath Seminary and lived the greater part of her life here. Following Mr. Ratliff's retirement as sheriff, the family moved to Irvine, where they have since lived. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. R. W. Smith, of Irvine. Mrs. Ratliff had many warm friends through Bath and surrounding counties, who regret to learn of her passing.
