Nicholas County, Kentucky Deed Book O page 306 This indenture made the 20th day of Sept. 1834 between Labon Johnson and Fanny Johnson his wife late Fanny Holladay heir of William Holladay decd. of Nicholas County and State of Kentucky of the one part , and Thos Holladay of Bourbon County and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth: That the said Labon Johnson and Fanny his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and twenty five dollars to them in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknd have granted, bargained, and sold and by these presents do grant bargian sell and convey and confirm unto the said Thos Holladay his heirs and assigns all the right title and interest that they have or may have in the real and personal estate of William Holladay decd. also their interest in the widows dower of Wm Holladay decd it is further understood that said Thos Holladay binds himself his heirs etc to pay all debts coming against the estate of William Holladay decd. that Labon Johnson and his Fanny his wife would be bound for. In Witness whereof, the said Labon Johnson and Fanny his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day first above written Labon Johnson seal Frances Johnson seal Attest Lewis P. Holladay State of Kentucky I, J. G. Parks, clerk of the Nicholas County Court, do certify that this deed from Laban Johnson and wife to Thos Holladay was on this day acknowledged before me in my office by the said Laban Johnson to be his act and deed. Whereupon said deed together with this certificate hath been duly admitted to record in said office. Given under my hand this 17th day of July 1848 J.G. Parks Clerk
