Jeannie, That was certainly worth reading. I began my search last Jan. and have learned so much! In fact, I have learned enough to know that I still have A LOT TO LEARN! However, I have been blessed with a dear friend who is an experienced genealogist who is editing my data and putting it on a "floppy disk(?)" for me. He gently makes suggestions on where to search and gently chastises me if I forget to do something I should have known better. His help is priceless as well as his friendship. I would not be anywhere as far along in my endeavor without his guidance. Many have also kindly helped on the internet, but I do go back and get my own "proof". The thrill is there each time you make a "find". The time and energy you, and other list managers put in to this task should not be ignored either. I am truly blessed by having two great sources of help and information. Kay
