Denell, We've talked before about the Holladays, but I have found a very little information since then. I do have a list of all the deed transfers which involved the Holladay clan in Nicholas Co. All of them seem to be offspring of William and one of his wives. The list of transfers is very long - more than one hundred transfers. SOme day I might get them entered into the computer, in which case I will post them. Otherwise, I would advise going to your local Family History Center and ordering the index of deeds. There is a much shorter list of Ammon deed transfers 1810 Ammon, Thomas to Arnett, Samuel book C? page 440 1819 Ammons, Nerris (or Harris?) to Barnett, Ambrose Book E page 294 Thomas Ammon may be the father of Fannie. There was also a land transfer from William Holladay to William P. Robinson in 1830 (Deed book I page 80) which maybe why Wm Holladay only left Wm Robinson one dollar in his will. >From what I can find Wm Holladay's parentage is a subject for much debate. He is supposedly from VA. RoseAnne
