Jacob and his family came from Berkeley County , Virginia (now West Virginia). This land is on the Jackstown Road just inside Nicholas County near the boundary with Bourbon. To Marla M (the orginator of this query)...Nicholas County was formed on June 1, 1800 from Mason and Bourbon Counties.
