Mr Ed Collins and family lived on lower Jackstown road, just before you get to Pleasant Springs pike on left. Oren went to school,got a degree in Pharmacy and was owner operator of the drug store in Richmond while I was at EKU.Mr Ed Collins was a fine gentleman farmer. He was quite old when he died.I believe he had a daughter that lived near him and took care of him and Mrs Collins for a while.I have waited on him many times when he would come into my fathers grocery in Carlisle.
