Looking for information about family and parentage of Alexander Ramsay b. 1755? in PA? d. 1 Jan 1807 in Fleming County, KY. Captain in Rev War in PA line, maybe settled in Huntingdon County, PA, after war. Married in Penn. and had a son named Archibald. After first wife died, left Archibald in PA and moved to KY ca. 1795. Married Mary "Polly" Wills in Bourbon County, KY in 1795. I am descended from their first son William Burke Ramsay, b. 1795 @ Mason County, KY, and d. 1876 in Putnam County, IN. William married Elizabeth McAnulty and they moved to Portland Mills, IN, ca. 1826. Archibald eventually settled in Nicholas County, KY, and died there ca. 1824. I have looked at the LDS IGI in depth and have that info. I have plenty of info on William Burke Ramsay as well. Any relatives out there?
