Hello Jean, you brought up the subject abt. the microfilm, you wrote anything that you give them, becomes their property, unless you have given them written notice that they are not to give out the inf. out to anyone....Then they can do what ever they wont to with it. I use to go to their one genealogy place here in Dayton, Oh. I, one time I rented three film from them; this was on my forth gr grandfather Major King,from Amherst,VA., well I thought I would find out his parents as the film looked promising, well when the film came in I got a call telling me that I cannot read the film unless I was a member of the church, or someone who is a member can read it for me as the person that subbmitted it does not wont th inf. given out. { A William Penn, not the William Penn}, well no one at the genealogy area would not read the film, reason they said was because he, William Penn did no wont the inf. to be given out, well I was given a name and a phone # in Utah, I called and the woman read it for a charge, she sent me copies of the film which was type written and under his name, Major King father is Joseph King; this was hand written in her hand writing. their was only a few names on it, really nothing that wasn't already out on the census, and nothing even mentioning any of his children, not even his wife, which we as a fam. had already, I cant understand why these things happens, Jan.
