I would appreciate a roll call by researchers whose ancestors were in the Lower Blue Licks area of Mason (Nicholas) County by 1795, and where they migrated from, if known. Any surname. Since families migrated in groups, maybe a few patterns will emerge that can point me and others in the right direction. Thanks. Marla M.

To one and all, I have added several names to my "Early Bourbon Families" web page. I have uploaded these as "rtf" (rich text format) files that should open nicely into everyone's word processor. The genealogies are "as is;" that is, they are presented with all of the rough data that I have thus far collected on the families. Also, the input on these families is not yet completed. So, don't get upset if some of the material that has been sent my way does not appear in the material. My purposes for uploading these files to the web site is (1) to provide information to fellow researchers and (2) to get feedback from you in the way of corrections/additions/deletions. I welcome any and all constructive comments.
