    3. Hello Does anyone know anything more about this John Davidson who md Jane Burris 7 resided in Nicholas Co KY? Davidson, John war of 1812 Papers from Natl Archives does not have a File# Jane Davidson applying for pension/bounty on the service of her husband John Davidson, no final determination was inclosed. 1853 Dec 6 Boone Co IN Justice of Peace David Hacker John M. Burris personally appears to testify that he was well acquainted with John Davidson of Nicholas Co KY & also with his wife Jane, from the time from 1820 or 1825 till about the year 1835 or 1836. He said John Davidson departed this life in Fleming Co KY and that he was at the funeral of the said John. That John Davidson left Jane his widow and eight or nine children. Jane remained in the county of Nicholas for several years after John died then moved to Decatur Co IN 1855 Jun 4 Jane Davidson aged 64 yrs resident of Decatur Co IN appears stating: she is the widow of John Davidson, deceased who was a private in the Co commanded by Capt Robert Berry in the Regiment of KY Vol Milita Commanded by Col Allen under General Hopkins. Her said husband volunteered at Nicholas Co KY abt Aug 1812 & continued for three months. Was honorably discharged on the Wabash River between Vincennes & Terra Haute on the Wabash River Dec 1812. that she was married to John Davidson in Bourbon Co KY15 Mar 1810 & that her name before marriage was Jane Burris, her husband died at Nicholas Co KY 3 May 1834 or 1835 & that she has not recieved any bounty,

    3. Need a roll call.... Thanks... Jeannie I am researching: BLAKE, George & Thomas 1700's early 1800's CAMERON, John & Samuel late 1700's early 1800's Robertson & Nicholas PAYNES, Berry, born c1781 VA, had at least 10 children but no wife ;) would like anything on this family. ERVINS/IRVIN, all in Nicholas county, especially Jetson ISHMAEL, have a lot, not really interested in any more MOORE, Thomas and family early 1800's STANDLEY, think that the few that were in Nicholas were related to Nancy STANDLEY that married Thomas MOORE in Boone Co 1806 McFERRIN, William, early 1800's would love ANY THING on him, had dau's Mary & Elizabeth ADKINS, Drucilla, she was released on this planet by a UFO, married George Blake in the early 1800's, had a mess of kids then went poof. LEGGETT, Mary and Nancy ANYTHING would be appreciated, they are, we think, from Montgomery co. DRYDEN, tho there were basically in Harrison and Robertson Counties, I will take any that are hanging around in Nicholas too. WHALEY, all in Nicholas co. and a few in Robertson early CLARKE, William and his offspring.. some were in Robertson and one married a Nicholas Co gent., but the family was basically in Mason co I think. Late 1700's and early 1800's.

    3. Hello Nicholas Family. I have a dilemma. I am trying to find Absalom H. Richey, Ritchy, Ritchey. Born around 1820. He married America Snap 1849, and had a child named John M Richey. I found them in the 1850 census. Unfortunately I am unable to find him prior to his marriage. I would like to find his mother and father. I have search the 1850 census in this county, to see if maybe there might be an older couple that might be related to him. Does he look familiar to anyone? He went by A.h. and Abner, and the 1850 census shows him as Abraham. Thank you for any help. Sincerely Sherry Davis-Ellis

Below is a part of the 1850 census in Nicholas County, KY It looks like Stephen D. Paris his wife Elizabeth Stivers and children including Anna Elizabeth Paris (age 4) were in Nicholas County in 1850. The Eubanks/Paris connection: Francis M. Eubanks married his first wife, Nancy Arnett in 1860 in Nicholas County, KY. He married his second wife, Anna Elizabeth Paris (born 4 May 1847) in 1870. By then Francis M.
