    1. [KYNICHOL] Re: Chuck Carter's Robert Shannon
    2. Marlene DiGiovanni
    3. Chuck - I'm descended from John Shannon who m. Keziah Rogers in Nicholas Co. 1820 - at least that's what the Marriage Record in the Court House says - but it could have been a late Minister's Return. Anyway, some of my Shannons say that your Robert Shannon and my John Shannon were related. Do you have any evidence of a connection between them? (My John went on to Licking Co. OH by 1832, where he died). Do you have any clues to the parentage of your Robert Shannon? Thanks, Marlene Marlene DiGiovanni MarleneDiGi@prodigy.net

    3. Jim, I lived in Nicholas Co. for 30+ years, and did a hamlet study of the county during my days as student at UK. Have never been on Clay Farm, however. As we discussed, I now live in Front Royal, VA, about 425 miles from Nicholas Co. The 'History of Nicholas CO' has some pages on the Clay farm; & has a partial listing for Parrish Chapel/Cassidy Creek burials. I can not find a complete listing.
