Hello,I am Jan. and Nixon Covey is ,was my 2nd. gr grandfather, he was B: Mar. 1, 1791, he says in his diary and she was B: Feb, 22, 1811, which makes him twenty years older, really not that much, but as a fam., we have pondered on the subject, The Margaret Wells, I will have to ask my 1st. cousin as she has done an extesive research on our 2nd. gr grandfather , and she might have done research on her since she knew that she Margaret Wells lived with them, He and Susan was M: May 28,1828, and she was B: what 1832? In the census, the William L.D., Nixon diary says,William Leonider Lyciurgus Covey B: Dec.the 15 1832 and departed this life July the 28th.1859, we can see how one can be missed led, because names and dates are somehow wrongly submitted. I dont think as Margaret being the rel. or it would have been put in his diary as such, Thank you, Jan. Jean Dalrymple wrote: > > Thanks for the information, I am forwarding it on to the lists... Hello Nicholas County researchers, I'm still looking for my ADAMS family members. My gr gr grandfather Thomas ADAMS was marr. twice. I'm seeking info for both Thomas & wife Dolly/? or maybe other name/ HOWELL. Thomas was born 1807 in Nicholas Cty. the son of Thomas ADAMS & Catherine WATSON. I'm interested in any data regarding Dolly. Need marr. date & location. Children they had: 1. John Wm. ADAMS born abt. 1830 Nicholas Cty. marr. Rachel ROGERS. 2. Thomas ADAMS need B & D dates marr Anna Eliz. BROOKS 3. James ADAMS b. 1/6/1835 Nicholas Cty. marr. Elizabeth ADAMS 11/24/1858. Need marr. location & parents for Eliz. It seems Dolly died soon after James was born because Thomas marr. second to Lucinda MANNING 1836 maybe in Bath Cty. Ky. Believe Lucinda was born 1804 in Franklin Cty. Va. It seems Thomas & Lucinda had 5 children. Would like to hear from anyone having data for Lucinda. Believe her father was Henry MANNING. Maybe Lucinda had a sister named Catherine MANNING who marr. William Watson ADAMS 3/5/1833 in Nicholas Cty. Thomas & William Watson ADAMS were brothers. Thanks in advance for your help in my search. Ed Jones New Palestine, In.
Virginia, I don't know, but it seems probable that the lines below are related, if not one and the same at some point. The Forrest Frank Bronaugh I have in my files was born in Lexington 9 September 1896, and died there 1 March 1976. He was a son of Benjamin Franklin Bronaugh and Minnie Lee Hughes. Forrest married Leona Armstrong, daughter of John Rankin Armstrong and Emma Edwina Lee Hall. Forrest and Leona had one child that I know of; Jo Lee Bronaugh. I think Jo Lee was married twice, to a Norris Curry & to a Riddle.
