I've been listening to the Howard famiily conversations with great interest. My gg grandfather is Joseph Edward (JE) Howard born about 1834 in Nelson County. He married Sarah M. (Rena) Keenes/Keener 7 Mar 1854 and died in 1923. I've come up to a brick wall with them both, any help would be appreciated. Their son, William J. Howard b. in 1863 in Breckinridge County married Nannie Belle Dowell in 1888. William d. in 1938 in California while visiting his daughter, my grandmother.
