They ask an Act to establish a warehouse and inspection on the Beech fork at the mouth of Cartwright's Creek on the land of Richard Parker"....signed WILLIAM HARRELD, MOSES HARRELL and JAMES HARRELL and about 150 others.<< WILLIAM HARROLD of Frederick Co., VA, 1780 Source: Old Kentucky Entries and Deeds by Willard Rouse Jillson, Deed Book A page 105 "May 27, 1780 WILLIAM HARROLD, 1500 acres of land on Beechfork Creek, surveyed."(At the time of the grant, this land was in Jefferson Co, in 1784 it became Nelson County)<< JAMES HARRELL of Shenandoah Co., VA, 1780 Source: Old Kentucky Entries and Deeds by Willard Rouse Jillson, Deed Book A page 106 "May 27, 1780 JAMES HARRELL, 400 acres of land on Beechfork Creek, surveyed."(At the time of the grant, this land was in Jefferson Co, in 1784 it became Nelson County)<< Note: There is some conflicting information as to where this Harrell family originated and it should be clarified that Richard Harrell Sr., father of those above, was from Prince William co., Va....
