    2. It is interesting how enthusiastic we all get at the possibility of a new source of genealogical information. We are so excited when the chance to push back another generation or so comes along. I just want to say that over the years we all (whether you have personally used their publications or not) owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the people of the Roundtable who have worked so hard producing all these resources for research in Nelson Co. There are really just a very few of them, so when you get enthusiastic for them to do some more transcribing, remember that these ladies (most of them are ladies, not gentlemen) are working quite hard for you. Now let's also think about their quarterly publication, The Nelson Co. Genealogist. They have published a lot of these transcriptions of court and church records in that publication, and they are constantly on the search for subjects to write articles about. Think how much more time they would have for transcribing the court and church records if some of us would contribute articles to the Genealogist and not leave that to them. Genealogy should be a hobby of sharing, not just one of only taking and not giving. Give some thought to writing an article for this very fine publication and thus help your fellow researchers and free the Nelson Co. members of the Roundtable to provide you with even more documented information. It doesn't have to be a story with a beginning and an ending, it can be just a page or so of information on your family that you think would be useful to others. Bob Moore
