I am looking for members of the Michael Whalen family, who lived in Nelson county, KY, about 1810 to 1830 or so. Michael Whalen was married to Catherine Welch and one of their children was Patrick Whalen, my great great grandfather, who moved to Edgar County, IL. I would like to know when the family moved from Ireland and from where in Ireland. Any information in the newspaper archives, etc. will be much appreciated. Pat Smart
