Nelson Co listers: Researching my Talbott family from Bardstown area & noted the death of John C Talbott 1859 at the hands of a Thomas Hinds Slaughter; couple years later, apparently, son of John C Talbott, Dan Talbott, killed this T H Slaughter. He was acquitted upon trial for that killing & later joined Confederacy (Naval branch) where he contracted yellow fever. He died of that disease & is buried in Confederate cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. (A) I'm seeking date of death of Thomas H Slaughter in order to explore available period newspapers for futher details/information about the trial, etc. (B) By chance anyone know how to learn excact burial location of this Dan Talbott in this Chattanooga cemetery?
