I've just read about Bob's passing and am sitting here with a heavy chest and tears in my eyes. I'd only personally met him less than a month ago at the NCGR meeting where he so kindly brought me an original copy of the Kentucky Genealogist with pictures of the Troutman family that was about my husband's great-grandfather's birthday gathering. I'd corresponded to him many times via email and grown to have him a part of my genealogy family even though we weren't related at all.
