    1. RE: [KYNELSON-L] Family Reunion Ideas Question
    2. Dottie Himes
    3. This is an idea that I found recently from Ancestry.com I am enjoying the suggestions as I think we all need a little help to make reunions interesting and more fun. Dottie Porter Himes Reunion Ribbons At our 2003 Drobnak Reunion, a cousin volunteered to come up with a plan to quickly identify the different members. She assigned a color to each family. When they arrived a color ribbon was attached to their Reunion T-Shirt so identifying what family they belong too was quick and easy. Of course a large chart was made for reference. It worked so well that in 2006 we plan on using the (new) ribbons again. God bless, Mary Anne Drobnak SECOND IDEA: My cousin found a place to order a round ancestral lineage chart and took to the Md to KY reunion which went back about 12 generations, the top was for my mothers family and the bottom for my fathers family. It was great I have the name tucked away where to order it if anyone is interested. write to me at Dottie Porter Himes [email protected] You write on the chart in permanent pens......but I recently heard that when you have a chart like this type up the name on small labels and put on which make it easier to do and easier to read. Keep the ideas coming.
