To be a little more clear, I was referring to the northern area from a little west of Fairfield bordering Spencer Co. over to where the county touches Anderson Co. and then southward along the line with Washington Co. , let's say down to where Ky. Hwy 55 crosses the Beech Fork River on the road's way to Springfield. I know a lot a family origins beyond that area, but it's the NE part that I know the best, having grown up there and being familiar with the family names, both from personal knowledge and from research.
