    2. Nelson Co Listers: Recently I saw a hint that one of my grandmother's g uncles, named Lytleton W Talbott of Bardstown ? 1820-1890?, had married a Pottinger in Nelson Co. I've lost that material however & wonder if their mge might show up in any early Nelson Co mge records (my guess is perhaps between 1858-1866 or so). I later learned he served with Nathan Bedford Forrest's Rangers, but was taken prisoner at Ft Donnelson, TN by the North & shipped to POW camp on Lake Erie, Ohio called Ft Johnson near Sandusky. Not certain how long he spent there, perhaps the duration of the Civil War; later found him as an attorney married to an Eleanor ________ b KY Jan 1831. They had moved to southern California near San Bernadino. Might any lister know further details about the Pottinger family of Nelson County? My research suggests they were a well known pioneer family in the area. I'm curious whether Lyttleton & his first wife, ________ Pottinger, may have had children. Apparently no children came from his second mge to Eleanor _______. TIA for any tips for further research on my part. Charlie Murphy near Seattle.
