Greetings from overly sunny Arizona! Does any of this ring a bell? My 4ggfather started out in life as Wilson Flick of Bullitt co, KY. He was married under that name twice; first to Julia Ann Spencer on March 16, 1837 and secondly to Rebecca Shaw in 1844. Both marriages took place in Bullitt county, KY. He appears in the 1850 census however as Wilson Flake (spelling always seems to be optional in the census); but appears in the 1860 census as Wilson Hatfield. Wilson Hatfield does not appear with his family in the 1870 census. On the same date of Wilson Hatfield's first marriage, March 16, 1837, a Rebecca Spencer married John Mullican also in Bullitt county.
