    3. Hi Mary, I did check out his site! Very awesome! http://www.ericjames.org/ I see many of my family names there - so I will be spending some time perusing through these.... It looks like he has his earliest James in southern VA 1725 ish. These guys could have also been Scotch-Irish (rough and tumble type people... I think many of mine were these). Quakers, Germans, Scotch-Irish all migrated down the Shenandoah Valley corridor trying to find land, get away from religious persecution, etc. Many then fanned out into Kentucky or NC then into KY or Tenn., etc. Now, if I can get as half as knowledgeable as many on these Kentucky lists, I would be happy! I had an email ready to go with names of childen and spouses, etc.which included the earliest from Scotland down to Henry and Beersheba and my computer popped up and said -Error in somthing or other- I lost the email. If you want more info will try again. From the article--Three brothers came from Scotland: Alexander, Andre, *Thomas. Thomas had a son *Humphrey b1680 will probated 1740 Kent Co. Md. who married Mary ___. Their children were *John Humphrey, James, Thomas. *John married Sarah Kennard (Mary Pearce left a will probated Kent Co. Md. 1743 naming Sarah Kennard daughter. Phillip Kennard left will naming wife Sarah___1739 Kent Co. Md. Vital rec. show that Philip Kennard had grandsons John and James Younger. Children of John Younger and Sarah Kennard were Thomas, Joseph, Elizabeth, Kennard, John,*Joshua born 5-11-1752, Henry and James. The line continues with; Joshua Younger b 5-11-1752 Hampshire Co Va. died 8-2-1834 Lawrence Co. Va. mar Elizabeth Lee Charles Lee Younger b 1783 mar Sarah S.
