Dukes in Gil Stewart's database, born in 1855 in Muhl Co. He is listed with 2 children, James W. and Nancy L. Dukes, but no Frank. James S. is listed as a son of William F. Dukes b.1832, a veteran. William F. is listed as son of Jonathan. Jonathan had 11 children and seemed to move around a lot between Muhl Co and TN, with several children born in each place. Jonathan was a son of Benjamin, who is my ancestor, so, yes this would be my family. My father, John Robert Morris, said he remembered the Everly brothers when they were children, waiting for their father to get off work at the Martwick mine.
