    3. Velma, How far would you say that Mt Zion is from the location of the Mt Olivet church site/cemetary that still remains?? The Sharp family, one of the first in Muhlenberg Co, is buried up there. My 4th gr grandfather, John Culbertson, is buried at Mt Zion and was a founding father of that church which makes sense since the Culbertsons were an old Presbyterian family. John Culbertsons daughter, Elizabeth, was my 3rd gr grandmother who was married to Robert Cessna. Roberts sister, Sallie was married to James Sharp and is the father of most of the Sharps in Muhl Co and at Mt Olivet. I can find James, I can find John Culbertson.............but I can't find Sallie Cessna Sharp, I can't find Robert Cessna nor his wife Elizabeth Culbertson Cessna. And how far is the Green River from Mt Olivet and Mt Zion? There used to be a Milligan Falls somewhere along the Green River........probably named after James Milligan, Robert Cessna's brother in law.............they were all right there with land holdings along the Green River in towards Central City area. Are there any more obsure cemetaries?? Robert died in 1814 but Elizabeth died in 1836....surely she would be buried near her husband. I think maybe they were buried on the family farm..........just can't find them. They are not buried in the Cessna cemetary, located in Powderly, next to Memorial Gardens. That Robert is their son.
