    3. Fran Nope but probably a relative. My James was born in PA around 1790 and his son Lewis Griffith was born in Ponds Creek KY in 1815. I think there you will find a connection. Celie is a name used in the next generation. I think you will also take them back to Wales and to the area of England referred to as the Black Country. James marries Jane Rose daughter of Lenox Rose.
