    2. Jack Underwood
    3. Deborah Gunter My name is Jack Underwood and I descend from William Beverly Underwood of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, born 1814 in North Carolina and came to Illinois from Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. His father was Thomas Underwood. 1850 - Kentucky Census, District # 1, Muhlenburg County, 13th day of August 1850 Underwood, William State: Kentucky Year: 1850 County: Muhlenberg Roll: Township: District 1 Page: 215 1860 - Federal Census, Kentucky, Muhlenburg County, District # 1, Greenville post Office, 21st day of June 1860, page 33 1861 - The 1870 Federal Census will find William Beverly Underwood and most of his family in Hamilton County, Illinois. A lot takes place between the time they leave Muhlenberg County , Kentycky in the 1860s and arrive in Illinois Less than two months after Lincoln was inaugurated President, the Civil War began this day, April 12, 1861, with Confederate troops in Charleston, South Carolina, firing upon Fort Sumter. Any chance we are in your family tree.
