Hi Dorothy... My paternal great grandmother was Amanda Jane Dukes......daughter of Josiah W Dukes and Charity Ann Moore Dukes.....she married John J. Lile/Lyle ( I have seen it both ways).....My grandfather was named after his mother.....AMANDA Marcellus Lile/Lyle....( reminds me of the song " a Boy Named Sue".....poor guy.....needless to say he never went by it..)... What was Velmas fathers name?.....I do have some files charts that I got from Carol Brown.....if they were related it might be on there..... Isn't "genealogy" interesting...:>)... Margaret
