Hello, all you DAVIS researchers. My DAVIS line is one of my major "brick walls". Tradition has it that my Nancy DAVIS was born in Halifax County, Virginia, in January 1824. She married Josiah Dobbs in Logan County KY Dec. 7, 1837, and their first child, James Calvin was born in 1840 somewhere in Tennessee. Nancy and Josiah moved to Muhlenberg County and had a very large family, fifteen children in all, most of whom Nancy outlived. Josiah died in 1880 and Nancy DAVIS Dobbs died in Muhlenberg County after 1900. Does anyone know who her parents might be? Please give me a clue and make my day!!
